Mark, at 73 is going to ride the famous London-Edinburgh-London randonneur this summer. It’s 1400 km long out and back. 2013 will be Mark’s second time riding this event, and this time he realized how valuable it would be to have a robust wheelset with a generator hub to charge his lights and Garmin. After a bit of research, Mark purchased the generator hub you see on this wheelset. For the rear, I recommended either an Alchemy Orc UL or a Hope Pro 3 Mono, with campy free hub. The Alchemy was backordered, so he went with the Hope Pro 3 Mono.
